Having worked extensively with University students in the roles of tutor, lecturer, mentor and counsellor, I love being able to offer sessions where students can discover the ways in which mindfulness can help them with their studies, well being and happiness! You can rest assured that participants will have an engaging, interactive and enjoyable experience. Workshops can last anything between one hour to one day and work as stand alone events or as part of a series. We can work out together what may be needed, depending on student demands and challenges at any given time. Introduction to Mindfulness
A great place to start, this workshop offers a gentle introduction to mindfulness for your students. Through a combination of psychoeducation and guided practice, participants will leave with a sound understanding of how mindfulness can be of benefit to them and how they can begin their own formal and informal practice. I offer plenty of tips and tools which participants can start to use immediately. This session may also help you to gauge the appetite among your students for running longer and more intensive mindfulness teaching.
