Working with anxious thoughts and rumination
4 week course, 2 hours per week. How we relate to and direct our thoughts impacts every aspect of our lives, well-being and happiness. Through a combination of psychoeducation, guided meditations, group discussion and home practice you will learn how to transform your relationship with your thinking mind. You will develop valuable skills and techniques to help you benefit well beyond the course. In summary, this course will support you to:
Become aware of your own unhelpful thinking styles
Increase your understanding of how thoughts impact feelings and behaviour
Develop the skill of letting go of troublesome thoughts
Build a wise relationship with your thoughts which can inform skillful action
Connect with the part of yourself that is spacious, grounded and peaceful
